Inauguration of New Operation Theatres at Sanjeevani Paediatric Heart Care Centre in Kondapaka, Telangana
Kondapaka, Telangana – Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals has inaugurated new operation theatres at its paediatric heart care centre dedicated to the service of humanity. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, this centre will provide life-saving surgeries for children suffering from congenital heart defects. The event was attended by prominent members of the health and education trust, Rotarians who support the healthcare mission, and distinguished guests including Dr. K V Ramana Chary, Mr. B V R Mohan Reddy, and various CSR partners.
The centre is a result of a joint effort between Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals, Rotary Club, and the government. The organisation has been working tirelessly to provide free heart care to children from underprivileged backgrounds. This centre will enable them to reach more children and provide them with the best possible treatment.
The Gift of Life Ceremony
A special “Gift of Life” ceremony was held to honour children from Telangana who have already received life-saving treatments at other Sanjeevani centres. There were talks by Rotarian Mr Uday Pilani, Dr C Sreenivas, and Dr. K V Ramana Chary, all of whom stressed the importance of collective support for this noble cause.
Dr. C Sreenivas, Chairman of Sanjeevani Hospitals, highlighted the centre’s mission of providing free healthcare to children, saying, “Life is not just about giving life, but also about giving hope and strength to those who need it most. We believe that every child is a gift from God and deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion.”
Sri Madhusudan Sai, in his address, underscored the importance of responsibility in providing free healthcare. He said, “True love is providing for those in need with what they lack. Our priority is to constantly ask, ‘What more can we do to help more children?’ The difference between ‘fee’ and ‘free’ is just one letter—’R’—which stands for responsibility. The need of the hour is a collective effort to save more lives.”
