Sai Spoorthi — More Than a Gathering, A Homecoming

The morning began with quiet anticipation and smiling faces. From young students to seasoned alumni, the air was filled with warmth and reverence. It was not just a celebration of achievements, but of values, bonds, and blessings that have remained unbroken through the years.

The Each One Educate One Foundation, associated with the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust, has been a guiding light in education. With 23 education campuses across Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu, and four universities including a medical college, the mission now educates over 8300 students — all free of charge.

Every child here learns not only academics but also compassion, humility, and service, the true essence of education.

The annual report was presented by Shri P V Krishna Mohan, Trustee of the Each One Educate One Foundation. His talk wasn’t just about statistics; it weaved stories of faith and perseverance. From Grade 6 to PhDs, from nursing to medical studies — every step of education here is offered as an act of love.

He also unveiled the Alumni Event Calendar, symbolising a new chapter in the E1E1 journey — one where alumni not only remember their roots but also return to nurture them.

Priyanka — A Story of Strength and Grace

Priyanka, a mathematics teacher at the Kondapaka campus, shared her journey — one filled with trials, courage, and divine strength. Once an intern, she faced an unexpected tragedy that shook her family. Yet, through Paravidya, she found resilience and purpose.

Her story reminded everyone that education is not just about books; it’s about becoming stronger from within. Today, she stands as a beacon of hope for many young women walking the same path.

Dr Phanindra — A Divine Responsibility

Then came the moving story of Dr Phanindra, who now leads the Divine Mother and Child Health Care Programme. After completing his studies, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai entrusted him with this responsibility — a moment he described as “a father handing his son the responsibility of service.” Every life he touches today is a reflection of that divine guidance. As he said, “Every transition, no matter how small, can uplift many lives.”

Smt Revathi Ramachandran — A Life of Art and Purpose

With over 50 years of experience, the revered Smt Revathi Ramachandran, Director of Nada Gurukulam, shared how nada (sound) and veda (knowledge) are the two pillars that define India. “Here,” she said, “we rediscover who we are — our culture, our art, and what India truly stands for.”

Shri J G Shridhar — A Life Blessed by Presence

Shri J G Shridhar, Asthana Purohit of Sathya Sai Grama, shared from his heart: “In moments of doubt, Sadguru’s presence lifted me. In times of weakness, He gave me strength to serve.” His words echoed in the hall, reminding everyone that faith can turn life’s darkest corners into light.

The Sri Sathya Sai Award for Alumni Excellence was presented to alumni who embodied the mission’s ideals in education and healthcare. Their names may differ, but their spirit was one — the spirit of One World, One Family.

Awardees included Ms Krishna Subaga, Mr Ashimavo Dutta, Smt A.S. Padmavathi, Mrs Atmakuri Sarada, Dr Abhineetha Hosthota, Ms Tunisha Mehrotra, Shri Bushan Anant Belwalkar, Shri C. H. Hari Prakash, Shri Jagdish Govind Kharvi, Shri Uday R. Prabhu, Dr Ram Mohan, and Dr K S Rao.

Today, many of the foundation’s initiatives are run by its own alumni — a living proof that Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai’s education initiatives are self-sustaining.

A heartfelt note of gratitude was shared by K P Sai Leela and Dr A R Raghupathi, thanking Sadguru for transforming their lives from students into servants of society.

Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai’s words carried both love and fire, guiding and awakening at once.

He said, “Sai Spoorthi is not just a celebration; it’s a transition from asking to accepting what God has already given.”

He spoke of the mission’s vision, not just selfless service, but self-realised service. “This mission,” he said, “is not about tyaga jeevis but yoga jeevis — not just those who renounce the world, but those who live in it with realisation and purpose.”

Sadguru reminded everyone that the foundation’s strength lies not in wealth or power, but in purity, sacrifice, and the spirit of belonging. He urged the alumni to rise not merely as social servants but as spiritual leaders who inspire others through their lives.

He beautifully narrated the six divine phases of the avatar: Leela (playfulness), Mahima (miracles), Upadesha (teachings), Vidya (education), Vaidya (healthcare), and Sanathana Dharma (eternal service).

He said, “India is a spiritual giant. And our mission is the flowing Ganga — unstoppable, purifying, and divine.”

As the sun began to set, the hall filled again with warmth and stories.

Ranjini Sathiyan — Living the Values

Ranjini, who served as a Balavikas Guru, shared a moment that changed her life. While teaching at an ashram, a little girl asked her, “Are you following what you teach us?” That question pierced her heart. From that day, she decided to live every value she taught — patience, gentleness, and humility.

She said, “When someone praises me, I don’t swell in pride; when someone criticises me, I don’t shrink. Everything happens, but I stay calm.”

Her words reminded everyone that spirituality begins with small acts of truth.

Sidram Nagur — A Journey of Faith

Sidram’s story moved every listener. He spoke of his humble beginnings — unable to afford further studies after 10th grade. At that time, Sadguru told him, “Don’t go anywhere, I will take care of your studies and your family.”

And he did. Sadguru cleared his family’s debts, educated him, and today the entire family serves at the Gulbarga campus. Sidram remarked, “Sadguru taught me what true education means — to serve, to uplift, to be grateful.”

In His concluding message, Sadguru said, “Sai means energy. You are not students of Sathya Sai; you are students for Sathya Sai.”

He reminded everyone that this mission thrives not on wealth or influence, but on sacrifice, purity, and responsibility.

“The foundation of this mission is strong,” He said, “because it stands on Dharma. And love is the true Dharma of our hearts.”

He urged the youth to rise beyond fear and shame when doing good. “There are no shortcuts to success,” He said, “only steady faith and continuous effort.”

His words concluded with a divine assurance: “Be fearless. Be selfless. Be steadfast. Success will come to those who never give up.”

The evening ended with a beautiful drama titled “Spoorthi Kirna”, symbolising how each alumnus is a ray of Sai’s inspiration, spreading light wherever they go. It portrayed how education, when rooted in love and service, becomes a force that transforms not just lives, but generations.

As the lights dimmed and hearts overflowed, Sai Spoorthi 2025 left everyone with a gentle truth, that this mission is not built by hands, but by hearts.

The students, the teachers, the alumni, all are threads in one divine fabric woven by Sadguru’s compassion. Each one came not as a guest, but as family returning home.

And as Sadguru said, “The home is where the heart is.” Sai Spoorthi reminded everyone that this mission: this divine family is and will always be home.
