Sai Swasthya recently celebrated a major milestone with the opening of its new Wellness Centre in Malerkotla, Punjab, further broadening its network of compassion and service throughout the nation as it continues its mission of restoring health and dignity.

Each year 5.8 million people lose their lives to non-communicable and preventable diseases in this country. To reduce this number, timely, accessible and affordable primary healthcare remains a critical need, particularly in rural communities. Sai Swasthya was envisioned as a spiritual response to this crisis — a model carefully crafted for, by, and within the rural community.
Sai Swasthya, under the auspices of the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (SMSIMSR), has expanded quickly into a compassionate network of 28 wellness centres spread across 9 states. It has performed over 3,00,000 health screenings and has provided over 1,00,000 consultations, all offered without discrimination, free of charge.
Every Sai Swasthya Wellness Centre is a haven of hope, healing, and interpersonal relationships in addition to being a clinic.
