Global Volunteer Meet : One World, One Family
As we approach the centenary celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, volunteers from around the world united at the Global Volunteer Meet to prepare for the 100-day celebration marking Bhagawan’s 100th birthday. This event was a call to action for everyone to become a One World One Family Volunteer, working together to make a difference from anywhere in the world.
Sri Madhusudan Sai emphasised the profound significance of this occasion: “Of all the achievements in our lives, the greatest achievement we have had is to know Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Everything else is pale in front of this great blessing that we all got.”
Volunteers from Australia and Italy shared their stories, challenges, and motivations behind their commitment to the mission, inspiring others with their dedication and service.
Honouring Bhagawan’s 100th Birthday
The centenary celebrations will take place from 16th August to 23rd November 2025. During these 100 days, 100 countries will present their ongoing service activities and showcase their cultural heritage. This grand event will require the support of numerous volunteers in various roles to make it all possible.

Sri Madhusudan Sai emphasised the importance of preparation and execution: “Naturally an event like the 100th year must go with the right kind of preparation, the right kind of execution. And whoever comes must go back with this great feeling of satisfaction that they have visited, they have learnt, and are now willing to engage and participate with us.”
Training and Commitment
To support volunteers, skill training sessions and workshops will be organised across different countries. These sessions will equip volunteers with the necessary skills to contribute effectively. Volunteers are encouraged to commit 25 days, particularly during October and November 2025, to be physically present and actively participate in this historic event. Isaac Tigrett reminded us, “You have been asked to volunteer, to help with all these people who will come from around the world. And you must remember, you are representing a Divine being and not only that you’re serving Divine beings.”

“If you want to know me, become me… I am pure love. So you become pure love, you become me, you get to know who I am.”

As Sri Madhusudan Sai assures us: “I can guarantee you if you have really sincerely participated in those 100 days, at the end of 100th day you will not be the same. You cannot be the same and you should not be the same also because you have stayed in satsanga with so many like-minded people all the time thinking of God and good things.”
