Sai Swasthya: Preventive Care at the Grassroots
In remote villages where healthcare is scarce and expensive, Sai Swasthya Wellness Centres offer a lifeline. With a vision to leave no one behind, these centres provide preventive, promotive, and curative care – entirely free of charge.
With 27 centres across 9 states, Sai Swasthya has conducted over 3,00,000+ screenings and 95,000 consultations, especially reaching rural women, children, the elderly, and low-income families. The focus is on early detection of conditions like anaemia, NCDs, and congenital issues, bringing continuous care closer to home and away from financial distress.
Sai Aarogya: Specialised Care for the Rural Poor
While primary care addresses initial health needs, secondary care is often where rural healthcare systems falter. Sai Aarogya Secondary Care Hospitals are bridging this critical gap by offering advanced medical treatments – from general medicine and surgery to cardiology – completely free of charge.
Sai Aarogya Secondary Care Hospitals offer key specialties including General Medicine, Surgery, and Cardiology, supported by a skilled medical team and modern infrastructure. With facilities like advanced diagnostics, operation theatres, and in-patient care, the hospitals ensure specialised treatment. Integrated with primary care, they provide seamless, patient-focused services. These hospitals are further strengthened by the expertise and guidance of the medical team from the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research
All India Meet 2025: Strengthening the Mission Together
On 17–18 May 2025, the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences & Research hosted the All India Meet at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli. Over 150 healthcare professionals and volunteers from nine states came together to reflect, share, and chart the course for the Sai Swasthya and Sai Aarogya initiatives.
Day 1: Knowledge, Gratitude, and a New Milestone
Themed “Detect. Prevent. Protect.”, Day 1 spotlighted pressing public health challenges—like rising non-communicable diseases and rural access barriers—through engaging clinical sessions. Dignitaries including Swami Satyajnanananda Ji, Dr. Rajvardhan Azad, Dr. Santosh Kumar Kraleti, and Sri B. N. Narasimha Murthy shared powerful insights rooted in public health, policy, and spiritual service.
In the evening, Sri Madhusudan Sai honoured the guests and made a landmark announcement: an MoU with the Government of Assam to establish a new secondary care hospital in Guwahati, extending quality care to the Northeast.
Day 2: Unity in Purpose, Commitment in Action
The second day continued with collaborative discussions on refining operations, improving patient outreach, and integrating wellness models with tertiary care. Breakout sessions allowed doctors, administrators, and volunteers to brainstorm best practices and deepen cross-state collaboration.
As the conclave concluded, participants left not just with inspiration – but with renewed resolve to expand, serve, and heal more communities with love in action.
